I write book reviews that I've post to Amazon and Goodreads (goodreads.com, which is a great site for readers). I decided to also put these reviews on this site.

I read three to five books a week. This doesn't include the ones I begin but don't finish. Of these, I only review those that I consider to be the very best-because reviewing time takes away from writing time.

This means that I only post 5-star reviews. The rating means I really liked the book, would recommend it, and might even reread it. In some cases, they are books I have read more than once.

They cover a range of genres: general fiction, animal-oriented books, science fiction and fantasy, YA and children's books, and LGBT. I will probably expand my reviews to include other genres.

In addition, I'm working on another category for books I recommend but haven't yet reviewed. Again, I give these books 5 stars.
